Due to an injury I have been stuck at home, have to rely on others to drive me, and only leave my house for doctor appointments. I was tired of being stuck at home and just needed a mini-getaway. I originally booked two nights, but enjoyed relaxing and having some alone time so much, I booked a third night.

I stayed there for one night. For this price, I didn't expect too much. To my surprise, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the most important thing is, it was very quite! Maybe I was lucky to stay in a good room.
For the price, the place was adequate. Clean--if old, comfortable--if a bit cramped and 'stingy' with the toiletries and stuff.
My biggest complaint is that it was advertised on Expedia for $40. Under the terms there was mention of "additional charges for extra persons", but it was me and my wife, for a single room with a queen-sized bed. Turns out, a second person is considered "extra", so it ended up costing me $50 plus tax. That's a clear bait-and-switch in my mind. When I complained to the owner/manager she claimed to know nothing about it. Indeed... Although that alone might not be enough to put me off this place forever, the fact that the "additional charge" brought it up to the same price as a half-dozen other Red Bluff hotels made it decidedly less attractive. The clear skimping on free toiletries (incl. the tiniest bars of soap I have ever seen), the ancient and VERY rough/un-absorbent towels, the ancient windows that don't open, etc. all seem that much worse when you're paying full price. So no, the place wasn't BAD, but had I known the price--actual, as opposed to 'bait' price--I would've most likely opted for a better looking or more familiar "chain" motel.
After doing my homework and reading other reviews. I went with this Super 8.. It is showing its age a little in the small things, but I was looking for a place to stay that was reasonable and clean. I was satisfied on both accounts. Staff was friendly, room was clean and ready. My family just needed a place to get a good nights rest and a little pool time before heading along. Its close to the Interstate for access, and had various places to eat within easy walking distance. They also provided breakfast from 6 to 10 am, which was great as we were on the road soon after. They had a little of everything, so it was quick and easy. So over all, if you just need a place to stay that is reasonable and gets you on your way. This is a place to consider.
