Situated adjacent to Lime Street railway station this hotel provided excellent value for money, the rate was for Bed and a substantial continental breakfast. I had a single room and when they gave me the key to room 101 my heart dropped. The room was compact, clean and warm there was a large flatscreen TV and tea & coffee facilities. The staff were very friendly & helpful. From the outside the building is not that impressive but once inside it represents very good value for money. Based on this one visit I would recommened this hotel.
Visited liverpool for just one night, fantastic city, the hotel was in an excellent location for all we needed just over the road from the Albert Dock, museums bars and resteraunts, just what we needed and at the right price as well!
Just a room that I booked for a short weekend stay, to visit friends. I had a little trouble finding it at first, but this was due to my not paying attention to where I was going. While it is not a hotel for holidaying, per se, it IS extremely useful for the odd night/stag/hen do type customer. It's cheap enough, very clean, and the shared bathroom aspect isn't even a deal killer. All in all, I was very pleased. The staff were polite and prompt, and payment was simple. Ditto checking in or out.
To sumamrise, the perfect hotel for the night out/weekend visit. I read some of the more negative reviews, and was apprehensive when I got there, but really. It's a nice, cheap,. functional place, with great staff. I recommend this hotel entirely.
Looks a bit grim from the outside and had a little difficulty finding the entrance as it is all shuttered on the ground floor which was a little worrying.
Once inside though found the staff incredibly helpful and the rooms very comfortable for the price. The bathrooms and a self-service kitchen area are shared but kept very clean.
Transport to and from the city was within easy reach as there's bus stop is outside and Wavertree train station is nearby. They also have the most secure parking I've seen.
I visit Liverpool regularly and would definitely stay here again, as it is easily the best value for money stay in Merseyside.
upon arrival we were moved to their neighbouring place, named the same & only a few streets away. Looking at the previous reviews we were slightly concerned about it but had no need to be worried. Staff were excellent, friendly & couldn't do enough to help us. The room was better than the basic that we were led to believe it was & was safe, secure, clean & tidy. If any complaint about the stay would be the 2 electric showers (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) were either roasting hot or freezing cold but not a major issue. only stayed 1 night & wouldn't really recommend for couples but boys/girls nights outs, concerts and football matches this would be the perfect place to stay.
