I am in the Dayton area fairly often and stay at the same hotel each time, but that property could not accomodate me this trip, so I chose to stay at Country Inn & Suites based upon the favorable reviews I read. I was very impressed with every aspect of my stay, as I had expected a bit less compared to my regular, higher-priced hotel. My expectation were exceeded on every level: Friendliness of hotel staff, cleanliness of the room, and the comfortable furnishings, the facilities and amenities, which included a complimentary breakfast buffet that featured a wide array of hot and cold items, all day complimentary bottled water, cookies and coffee, a pool, fitness center, discount coupons to area restaurants, the list goes on and on. I will definately be back - thanks for such a wonderful experience.
Friendly front desk person, nice to have coffee 24/7, right next to a gas station for papers, drinks, etc. Have two more stays at a Red Roof Inn this month, hope they compare to this one....very impressive!
We had a great stay. Like a Bed and Breakfast but with a lot more privacy.
Walking distance to a great many restaurants.
We were in town for a convention and the location was terrific.
Management was very accommodating..

My fiancé and I arrived a little early from out of town for a wedding. We were pleasantly surprised that we could get our room even a little bit before their official checkin time. When we got to our floor, the manager who had checked us in had raced up to the floor to give us a different room, as the one she had originally assigned us had been taken (although I'm not sure how their computer system would let this happen). She very quickly got new keys and a new room and we were all set! The hot breakfast was nice to have over the continental breakfast usually served at hotels.

We needed to break up our Arkansas to NYC trip, and Dayton was the half-way point. The hotel is next door to a Sam's Club, so as long as you have room to spare in the trunk / roof rack cargo, then it's a good idea to stock up on drinks/snacks. Breakfast was the usual hot fare, omelettes (prefer scrambled, since it doesn't overcook easily), bacon, home fries, along with waffles, yogurt, fruits and pastries/bagels/toast.
Would LOVE to see more non-high fructose corn syrup products among the spreads and sauces, and cereals.
Pleasant stay, nothing remarkable, but nothing to detract either. Friendly service and clean, comfortable accommodations are all I require, and received in full. Thank you Dayton - Vandalia!
