This place is in a bad neighborhood. It was difficult to find, as it is not well marked. The sign with the name on it is only on one side of the building. Google maps had us turn on a corner that took us past the building. Unfortunately there is no sign on that side of the building so we drove around for quite a while looking for it. Finally called and got better directions. When we found it, there was no obvious entrance (maybe because it is not a safe neighborhood). We called again and the owner directed us to a locked door where she buzzed us in. The parking garage was full so they moved a car to make room. The garage is behind bars and the owner has to buzz you in and out of that. Once inside, she showed me to a room and quickly closed the door. I think the room was occupied. She took me to another room. It was hot. One bed was made. The other was not, just a naked mattress with a plastic cover on it. They did turn on the room AC and after about 20 minutes the room temp was okay. My thought is, if you are expecting guests, the room should be cool when they arrive and both beds should be made, so that it looks and feels inviting. Across the street is a place that cooks and sells burgers and chicken. Not appealing. After a long day of travel, I wanted to comfortably sit in a real restaurant. That was not an option. We taxied to a better part of town for dinner. Out taxi driver refused leave us until he saw we were safely inside. Shower had almost warm water, not hot.
